A tolerance you cannot evidence is a claim. Everything below exists so the number on the drawing and the number in the report are the same number.

  • ISO

    ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D

    Registered quality management system covering quoting, purchasing, production and inspection, audited annually by an accredited registrar.

    AS9100 is what aerospace and defense customers ask for first. Certificate number on request.

  • CMM

    CMM inspection

    Two bridge CMMs with scanning probes in a climate-controlled room at 68°F, plus vision systems, height gauges and surface roughness testers.

    Every first article and every sampled production part is measured on a CMM, not by hand.

  • FIRST-ARTICLE

    First-article inspection to AS9102

    Full FAI reports with ballooned drawings, every dimension measured and recorded, on new parts and after any process change.

    You get the report with the first shipment, in the AS9102 forms or your own template.

  • PPAP

    PPAP and control plans

    Level 3 PPAP for automotive customers, with process flow, PFMEA, control plan, MSA and capability studies.

    We have done it before, so the submission is right first time.

  • MATERIAL

    Material traceability

    Mill certs on every bar and plate, heat numbers tracked through the job, certs of conformance with every shipment.

    Ask for a cert for a part you received two years ago and we will find it.

  • ITAR

    ITAR and NIST 800-171

    ITAR registered with controlled access to drawings, and cybersecurity controls aligned to NIST 800-171 for CUI.

    Defense drawings stay on our systems and are handled only by US persons.

The inspection room

Held at 68°F because steel and aluminium do not agree about temperature. Two bridge CMMs with scanning probes, vision systems, height gauges and surface roughness testers, all on a calibration schedule with certificates on file.

If something is wrong

You get a phone call the day we find it, not a note on the packing slip. Containment, root cause and corrective action in writing within five business days, and we pay for the sort.
